Ibanez Pedals 9 Series Internal Foot Switch Replacement Assembly

Description

This is a drop in replacement for the 9-series Ibanez pedals switch.

The installation is very easy – since it’s a complete assembly, and only
basic soldering skills are required.

Instructions:

1. Open and remove the battery cover.
2. Remove the battery
3. Locate the switch assembly. If there is a foam covering it, remove the foam.
4. Un-solder the two wires from the original switch PCB.
5. Open the screws and remove the original assembly.
6. Remove the spring from the original switch and place it on the new one.
7. Put the new switch assembly in the cavity, make sure the spring sits on the spring pin.
8. Use the original screws to mount the assembly in place.
9. Solder the two wires to the triangle soldering pads.

Please Note: If the spring is too short, expand it by few millimeters (1-2mm) and try again.
