ESW – True Bypass Relay Module

Description

The ESW True Bypass module is an easy way to add real true bypass to almost every commercial guitar pedal. Since it’s activated via a momentary switch, it can be activated using the original switch of the pedal such as: BOSS, DOD, IBANEZ, MAXON – without the need of making any changes to the pedal’s enclosure or drilling. Since the ESW True Bypass module uses a sealed relay, the life expectancy is much higher then a standard 3PDT switch.

It can also replace the existing 3PDT switch in a pedal – by replacing it with a momentary switch.The ESW module has TWO LEDs outputs – and can indicate both states; pedal active or bypassed (usually, only one is used, but the option is there).

Since the ESW module is already populated with the LED resistor on board, all you need to do is connect the LED directly to the module, no extra resistors are needed.

The ESW module designed to be in bypass mode at the absence of power, so even if you don’t power the pedal, or the power is lost, the signal will pass through.
